- Notes
- Harriet made a surprise visit to this village the goal was to find out whether participants use stoves on daily basis and if not find out the challenges and fix them. She walked home to home while inspecting the stoves. She did not find most people in the homes but looked at their stoves and found when they are being used on daily basis. This was proved by the absence of the three stones in the kitchen and the vent which was black showing that it vents out smoke every day. During her inspection she came a cross one kitchen that had a stove inside but the kitchen was leaking. She was able to talk to the owner of this home( Kasadha) to roof his kitchen so that it is not rained on which may damage the stove. He apologised before Harriet and said that he would have done it but has been busy in the garden. However he promised to do it with in one week time because he has seen how the stove has helped his wife to cook better.
