Notes
Ida went to Naibowa and reviewed the lessons she taught previously. She is phasing out and wanted to know if they remember what they learned. Ida asked them what are the causes of Anger, how do they deal with it, what do they do when angered and what do they have to do to prevent it. The discussion was as follows; Causes of Anger; - Six members said that, women, men, children and rumors. - Two members said that having no jobs has caused people to quarrel which leads to anger. On how to deal with anger; One Woman said the only way they deal with Anger is crying. This cools the Anger and makes them feel better after. Robert said that he kicks things like jerrycans and pots around. Henry said that as a Christian he tries very much not to sin when angry. He moves away and goes somewhere in a quiet place and sings gospel songs and prays after that. On prevention; Waibi said that to prevent Anger they have to avoid things that cause it. Things like rumors, quarrels between married couples,go for counselings in churches and trying to listen more and talking less. Ida concluded by giving them a memory verse to guide them whenever they feel like having disputes. (Proverbs 15:1) which says, A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.
