- The elected chairman led us into prayer and thanked members for turning up for the meeting.He also welcomed everybody and gave time to Alex B to teach the community. Alex B thanked the people for turning up for the meeting. He taught the leaders their responsibilities and also the members their responsibilities as they are to plant the mvule trees and also to do other projects for their development.He began with the chairperson of the group and his vice as their responsibilities are similar.He told them that they are to chair all the meetings,guide,listen to the members as they contribute or discuss, always be exemplary in word and action. Also that their Moral behaviour should be good and desirable to the rest of the members.They also are to allow members air out their views as well as make some informed decisions. Alex.B asked the elected secretary if he knew his responsibilities and he said that, to write down minutes during the meeting , Alex B.told him that besides that, to help the chairperson to make the agenda with the help of some members also. Also he should keep all the records of the members and interpret any information so that it is understood by everybody. The treasury was told that he is the custodian of all the property of the group. He is to keep the records of the money if there is any,and other property.He is to give accountability to the executive and to all the members any time he is asked to do it. The mobilizers are the link mostly between the executive and the rest of the members.They are to deliver information from the executive community and mostly when there is a general meeting.The chairperson can ask the mobilizers to inform the members when they are need to issue out or address somethings. Alex B also told them that other things/duties, they will learn as they go along with their group. The members raised a concern about how and where to write there minutes and they suggested, that they come up with some contributions among themselves.They also talked of membership fee as this money could help them to buy books,pens and also what they may need.Alex B. told them to meet and discuss about that and then brief him on what transpired.
