- Alex was in this village to help to elect the committee together with the community members.The members suggested that the chairperson and vice chairperson should have the same qualities that is ; They should be able to write and read,command respect from the community,and should be married and a respectable , exemplary member of his or her family . The office of the secretary they said; She/He should be able to write and read English and also translate from English to local language.They also said that one who can keep secrets of the group,should not absent him or herself from meetings and also with good behaviour. The members agreed that the treasury should be a member of the community,who can read and write, one who can keep records ,balance financial books of the group and to some level has income generating activities to support his or her family.They also said he or she is able to manage his or her family and is available when called upon. The mobilisers they said; should be able to pass information from the leaders to the rest of the members in case leaders want to communicate to the members of the group. They also agreed the Lc1 should be part of the committee for legal affairs of the group. After the discussion, the members took a step to choose the leaders . The election went as follows; 1-Chairperson ———Mrs.Fida. Kasinga. 2-V/Chairperson———Mr. George Isidore. 3-Secretary. ————Mr.George Isabirye. 4-Treasure——————Miss.Namaganda Rose. 5-Mobilizes—zone 1 :Mr.Baisi Fred. zone 2:Mrs.Ida Waiswa zone 3 :Miss.Mutesi Jamawa. 6-Lc1.—————-Mr. Kawanguzi Yona. The elected chairperson Mrs.Fida Kasinga then on behalf of the committee dismissed the people after a long discussion and she thanked them for empowering them.
