Introduction Manuela, Lorna and the four visitors went to kigalama primary school, since it was the beginning of a new term, Manuela planned to teach the pupils about personal hygiene, values of education and respect for one another. Personal hygiene is the general cleanliness of the body. Objective By the end of the lesson Manuela, expects the pupils to be able to know the importance of personal hygiene to their daily lives and the values of education. Overview On reaching the school, Manuela and team found the pupils seated waiting for their teacher Manuela to teach them Life Skills. Manuela started by introducing the visitors to the pupils and she introduced the presence of the pupils and their teachers to the visitors.Manuela started her lesson by asking the pupils what Life Skills is and the types of Life Skills this was done to remind the pupils about the lessons learnt previously. After that Manuela taught the pupils about the values of education, she asked the pupils that, why do they come to school everyday, pupils were able to share what they want to be in future and the reason why they come to school. Manuela encouraged the pupils to study hard because education is a key to success , Light, freedom and being educated can change ones life and ways of living. After that she went on and taught about personal hygiene, Manuela told the pupils that practising good personal hygiene like bathing , brushing teeth after every meals , washing clothing very clean with soap and keeping the private hairs short and clean, this will enable them to be free from bacteria infection and virus. Lorna also taught the pupils about respect and discipline, she told them that without respect and discipline, an individual will not be able to succeed in future , after that Manuela also gave chance to the visitors to have some words of encouragement to the pupils, it was about the importance of education. In conclusion, Manuela invited the teachers with whom she teaches with Life Skills in that school to also greet the visitors and Manuela ended the class since it was threatening to rain.
