Notes
Enock and the sub-county health inspector as well as the VHTs moved around the village to check on the progress of the village. They met some people busy working on new latrines, making dish racks and encouraged them to construct strong and good facilities which will last longer. This will save time for them to do other activities like going to the garden and being more productive, save some money to develop there homes, construct good shelter, taking kids to school, few cases of severe disease out breaks since they have proper disposal of fecal matter among others. There is a family of brothers in this village, they constructed houses in the same place, one of them is the one who has a latrine he told Enock that, his brothers refused to dig latrines. Enock managed to meet one of the men and called also their wives to join in as he was teaching the the importance of having all these facilities, they were all ashamed when asked where there latrine was and they didn't have one. Enock left when they had made an agreement that, they will dig a new latrine hole in one week, then start constructing a structure right away. The chairman, VHTs and sub-county health inspector were the witnesses, they all promised to continue visiting these homes to encourage them before there set deadline.
