Notes
Alex was to go to Buluvu for a meeting with the community members to discuss about the borehole contributions and why it is important for everyone to contribute money towards the borehole construction and borehole account. However on Alex's way to the village, he received a call that some body had passed on in the village and the village was mourning the death of a village member. This call came in when Alex was about 15km from the community. He decided to visit Nabikenge village to check on the borehole status there and follow up on whether the water user committee was still playing its roles and responsibilities. Alex checked the borehole status and all the necessary requirements were still very good. The fence was still good, the soak pit was good and the borehole compound was clean. He met with the community members who were majority in the garden harvesting their ground nuts. Many of the members who are on the water user committee belong to the Mvule group and this is the day that Nabikenge Mvule group was to harvest their ground nuts. He met with the chairman water user committee Mr Aaron Segonga and four other committee members who told him that they were all still very active and working together. Alex reminded all the people that were present and busy harvesting the ground nuts to continue working together in all the programs Kibo has started in their village. Alex will plan another meeting with Buluvu community next week the 20/6/2018
