- Bible Lesson 2: Jesus Lord of everything
- Notes
- Ida went to Kitukiro and taught about the lesson Jesus Lord of every thing. She asked Sarah Kibuuka to read a scripture from the book of Mark 4:35-41.
As they were all listening, Ida asked them to name some storms they go through. They listed as follows: hunger, sickness, poverty, fornication, drunkenness, ignorance etc.
According to the scripture read, Ida asked the members how can we get out of the storm?. These were some of the responses;
Jennifer Mubiru said by trusting Jesus who has the ability to calm any storm that comes our way.
Nanangwe Ruth said that take the sick to hospitals for treatment not to witch doctors because Jesus has power over them.
Paul Mugweri said that faithfulness to our spouses will lead to good families.
Swaibu said that things like poverty, drunkenness it's the community to work hard and stop thinking that someone will come from space and develop their village. He urged them to rise up and fight ignorance by attending Kibo lessons. The lesson was interesting because the majority contributed. Ida encouraged the community to be positive and put their trust in only Jesus who can calm any storm.
