- Notes
- Abraham, Nate and Falon met twenty five Bukoma C community members and they first went around and checked on the bore hole Kibo drilled. They found the borehole dirty and when the women who had come to collect water saw them they ran away with their jerrycans. Abraham asked some members and they said they fear because they have dirty jerrycans, Abraham called them back and advised them to clean their jerrycans not again to go back where they were before Kibo came to the village. He made them to clean the bore hole even their jerrycans and he told the committee to make sure that everyone who comes to draw water has a clean jerrycan or they can bring sand near the bore hole so that everyone who comes to draw water uses it to clean their jerrycans as other villages do.
They then went and met the members and they learnt how to dig the holes which is 2x2x2 feet deep, the distance from a tree to another which is thirty meters or ninety feet. They asked if Kibo will come back and take the trees and Abraham told them that these trees will be theirs and their children not Kibos. They asked if they can go a head and dig the holes and they were told to go a head and dig holes, get manure and put in the holes and they said they will do so. One old man told the meeting that he is willing to give Nate and Falon a plot of land so that they can build their home, he said he wants to give Kibo a plot of land so that they can be a part of Bukoma community. On their way back near Namwendwa town a motorcyclist was hit by a car and we need to pray for him we do not know whether he is a live or not.
