Notes
Abraham met thirty two Kivule community members unlike the last time, when he met few members because of the rain which poured the whole day. He introduced the Mvule program to the community and they asked whether the trees will be for Kibo or for them. He told them that these trees will be for them and their children. A member said that, they hear that the government is going to take all Mvule trees in Busoga. Abraham told them that those are rumours which are going around Busoga and he told them that, even the last time the president of Uganda and the King of Busoga were on radio encouraging communities to plant more trees. He encouraged them to plant more trees not Mvule only but others like back cloth tree and Musambya tree which is good for building latrines. Some members asked if it is okay for them to start digging holes but Abraham told them to wait until they get the list of members which will determine how many trees each will plant. The LC3 chairman of Nsinze sub county joined the meeting and he also encouraged the community to participate in Kibo program to plant more trees. He said that as a sub county they are the ones to do what Kibo does but they have a lot of things/projects and so ,if Kibo comes with such a good idea they are going to support Kibo in anyway. They are going to mobilize more members to come for the next meeting because they will be electing their leaders. They are proud of their sign post which Kibo put in this village they said that many people ask them about those sign posts and they tell them what happened.
