She continued saying that eating from every kind of food. Ida taught them the three types of food they have to eat at least every day. 1. Energy giving foods (carbohydrates) 2. Body building foods (proteins) 3. Vitamins foods to protect our bodies. Carbohydrates are these foods:Matooke, posho, sweet potatoes, cassava, bread, rice, millet, etc. Proteins are; Beans, peas, chicken, meat greens, gnut sauce etc Vitamins are ;All fruits, tomatoes, onions. She urged them not forgetting water. God made our bodies capable to fight diseases but if we don't eat accordingly, we fail the body to do it's work. The chairman encouraged the community to put what has been taught in practice and always save food for their homes. Ogutu suggested that they shouls come up with by laws to prevent people from selling all the food they have harvested. The community agreed to make bylaws to help them fight famine from their homes. And the community suggested Saturday to be the day for making their by laws. Ida closed with the prayer and left for Jinja.
