Notes
This meeting was to prepare the community for the surveying day that is expected very soon. Alex went to meet the community members and talk to them about their responsibilities and roles to play during the survey process. The community members that turned up for the meeting were told to all work together to feed the surveyors, allow the surveyor carry out his job as required without any interferences from the community members but rather let the surveyor do his job best, be available to help during the process as the community is required to participate during this process. Alex also had to show and read through the land agreement draft so that everyone in the community knows what it says and expect to avoid any fear that they might arise as some people might think their land will be taken. The land has to be willingly and at no cost be provided by the land owner to drill a borehole for his community and not thinking the land is given to Kibo group. During the meeting, two aspiring candidates for the post of LC3 for Nabweyo sub county, one of the new sub counties in Namutumba district first thanked Kibo group for the support to Nawandyo village and both contributed 40,000sh to help towards the borehole construction process. The surveying process is expected very soon and the community seemed to be very ready for this process.
