- Notes
- Harriet found when the participants had gathered at the meeting place. She walked with them to the homes where demonstration for the removing of banana stems was to be carried out.
Harriet removed banana stems from the two stoves as she explained the whole process. At the end of her teaching participants thanked her for empowering them with a skill and promised to try to participate next time she teaches them.
One woman Called Lukowe asked if she can start cooking on her stove immediately since it was now complete after removing the banana stems.
Harriet told her to wait for more three weeks for the stove to completely dry to avoid it from cracking / getting cracked.
