The community elected and came up with a new water and sanitation committee.Also on the side of fire saving stoves about twenty homes have stoves being used.

David and Steven were in the village to have a meeting with the community members guiding them towards forming anew water user committee. The community after being guided by David,the HPM From the district mr kabugo and Steven they came up with a full water and sanitation committee comprising of 5 ladies and 5 men . The committee was totaling to 10 because those who were elected wanted the V h t,s also to help them improve on the sanitation status of their village.After that the Wash crew appreciated those who were elected and slightly gave them a little light about what they were supposed to be doing.David went ahead and told them that the positions they were elected for were was not to rule but to take a lead into the responsibility of encouraging the rest about sanitation improvements and also towards the borehole contributions. Also another thing they spotted on was the unity and cooperation amongst themselves by encouraging every one to be part of sanitation improvement campaign ,since the diseases move from one home to the other .The committee members agreed and said that ,God-willingly they hope they will effect their responsibilities entrusted to them. Since David was the one chairing the meeting he requested the new committee members to come forward and they were prayed for by David,God to use them as they encourage and transform the entire village. On addition to that ,they continued their meeting by mobilizing the community to raise money for borehole repair .Because the village was expected to raise 500000 shillings towards the borehole repair . They mobilized more the reason being that ,it was a harvesting season and the majority of the community members had what to sell and get their contributions before all what they had harvested is sold .They Wash crew continued sensitizing the members by revealing to them the advantages of having enough money for the borehole account. One member from maliga lower section who attended the meeting by the names of mandamayaka requested David to give her a chance to create more awareness about good borehole account balance.She told them that it creates strong future sustainability of the borehole and it had worked and helped them a lot in their section. After mandamayaka,s sensitization David thanked him for loving his neighbors.In general the entire village on the side of hygiene and sanitation they wouldn’t have been bad except the challenge they faced ,that some of their toilet and shower areas were destroyed by the heavy rains . The Wash crew left the village promising them that they will be following on them any day in order to assessing the work progress.
