Introduction Lorna started by reviewing the previous topic with the pupils before moving on to the presentations for the day of exhibitions. Overview Lorna arrived the school and went straight to the administration office to sign in. She however did not find any teachers in the block as they were all busy collecting corn form the students that had brought some. The pupils are required to bring a certain kilogram of corn to the school that will be used for their lunch. Salama a co- teacher of life skills on seeing Lorna began organizing the pupils of life skills to go into the life skills class. After the pupils had settled in, Lorna and the pupils exchanged greetings and straight away Lorna asked for a few representatives from their already formed groups A,B and C to lead the rest of the pupils in the review. This review is done so as for the teachers to assess if the pupils have understood the topic/ lesson. Hajjara,Sadat,Logose ,Joel, katurebe were some of the few pupils who represented in this activity. The review was on the topic relationship skills which includes, Love, Gender roles and how to manage emotions. This went on for about 1hr. After the review, The topic was changed to how the pupils and the teachers were prepared for the day of exhibition. Lorna told the class that everyone was to participate on this day, she therefore told the class that group A would be reciting a poem, B will do the drama and group C would participate in singing. After that Lorna asked for the poem that the pupils had and made a few changes to it and also went ahead and wrote the whole poem on the board. Lorna asked everyone to copy down the poem. Group A was then asked to come to the front and recite the poem before the other groups. This went on successfully. Lorna told the other groups to practice as well. On the next visit the pupils will do a post test on communication skills. Lorna got a chance to speak to the headmaster kigalama primary school who thanked her and the life skills program for the changes brought to their school. He said he was able to peek thought the class as it was going on and he was happy with what he saw going on. He encouraged Lorna to always advise the co teachers concerning continuity of the life skills program.
