Introduction
Manuela and Lorna went to Kivule village to meet with the community leaders of that place, Manuela and Lorna were able to meet all community leaders of three villages for example Kivule, Nabitulutu, Bubenga and Nawapeti village.
Objective
The objective of this meeting was to inform all community leaders about Life Skills program which is going to be implemented in those villages, during the meeting, Manuela and Lorna told community leaders that this program is running at Kivule primary schools school and it has come to an end but it continue, pupils who did not attend this program will have chance to learn and they will be taught one of their teacher who has been attending Life Skills class. Manuela and Lorna plan to introduce this in the community too.
Overview
Since the pupils have learnt theses skills and if parents of this pupils also take part in this program then there will be close interactions between the children and their parents about positive behavior change in the family or community at large.
Manuela went on and told the parents about some of the lessons that they will be learning, she also told them that currently Lorna will be teaching them until she comes back from the maternity leave then she will join her from there, she went on requesting the leaders to work hand in hand with Lorna so that this program can be successful in this community.
Since Life Skills department is preparing for an exhibition at Kivule primary school, she also invited all community leaders of that area to attend and watch their children sharing with them what they have learnt during Life Skills program.
In conclusion, Manuela and Lorna succeeded in meeting all community leaders.
