Other Committee Notes
This committee is one that has continued to work together and meet all their roles and responsibilities. They call for borehole meetings and collect monthly fees for the borehole future repairs. They have made sure that the borehole account has money that is used any time it breaks down. The borehole account has now 300000sh and it has been repaired about 4 times. Alex also visited 7 homes checking on the sanitation facilities in the home. 6 of the homes still had all their facilities still in shape. He encouraged the committee members that he moved with to always encourage their fellow community members to maintain the good hygiene in their homes always. Alex and the CDO of Buhemba sub-county reminded them of always take good care of their well and encourage every one to fundraise towards their borehole account. Alex also met with the DCDO at the district and together they made a schedule to visit all the villages and programs that Kibo has worked in those villages. She has many times questioned Kibo of its presence in the district. Alex told her that Kibo is very active with Sinde village having punched a well in this village in 2015 and Mvule program soon winding up and pave way for another program to work with this community. He also told the DCDO of other communities where Kibo has previously worked in when she asked Alex. He mentioned syanyonja village and Namayuge village where Kibo punched deep boreholes as well. Alex, CDO and the DCDO scheduled for a Wednesday 15/11/2017 to go to all the communities and meet the people and as well they see what Kibo has done in these communities. Alex was able to mobilize sinde people for a general meeting next week on the 15/11/2017.r
Ws Notes
The borehole is still functioning and the borehole compound is still clean. They clean the slab every day with a mopper designed to only do that job every day. They were told to add stones into the soak pit to avoid water flooding into the soak pit.The committee has been very active to ensure that the community still enjoys the clean water from this borehole
