The members are still not very united. I was able to see this because in today’s visit, the meeting was held in the upper section at the chairman’s place Tulibagenyi . However people from the lower section did not come and also the vice chairman told Lorna that the change of venue of the meeting place affected most people. Lorna will decide on where hold the meetings.

Village Notes
The borehole in the upper section is faulty. They said that the problem may be the bearings. Lorna asked the chairman if they have contacted the mechanic and he said they did although he has not yet come.

Notes
Introduction Lorna was in this village to introduce life skills program to this community of Kivule/Nabituluntu. Overview It is a rainy season and so the community members are busy in their gardens. Lorna reached the chairman’s place and there was no one.Lorna waited another 1 and a half hours for other members to arrive. Lorna did not move around mobilising as she was told by both the chairman and vice that they mobilised. When the number increased to about 7, Lorna went ahead and started explaining to them what life skills program is and the topics under this program. She told them the background of life skills and how it started from schools but is now exclusive to the communities as well. Conclusion Since the turn up was low and yet this program is important for everyone, Lorna encouraged the members and the 2 chairmen to double their efforts at mobilising others to attend these lessons. The members promised to do so.
