- Notes
- Abraham and Alex B met twenty nine Kivule community members and they went around checking the trees, they found out that many were waiting to be taken a picture before they plant the trees. They said that Lona told them to first get the pictures before they plant the trees. Abraham and Alex encouraged them to go a head and plant the trees and they will go to their homes taking pictures when the trees are growing.
They are supposed to plant the trees as soon as possible because they do not know how long the rain season will take. They can not wait for pictures because the rain may not continue as expected. They were told to make sure all the trees they received be in the ground by the next day. The members promised that all who have not yet planted the trees will do it by the next day.
They said the committee will go around checking if all have done it well using the right measurement like from a tree to another which is thirty meters or ninety feet.
The next meeting will be for learning how to care for trees like putting cages around them to protect the tree from animals, time of spraying mostly when they see leaves being affected and watering the trees using the drip method of the plastic water battles and also they can do many other methods so long as the tree survive.
