Bible Lesson 1: The Light of the world
Notes
Ida went Bupeni and taught lesson one”Jesus is the light of the world “ She asked the community to name things done in the light and those in darkness. These are what they listed done in darkness: Back biting Stealing Alcoholism Fornication Witch craft Lies This is what is done in light: Forgiveness Kindness Giving the ones in need Loving Visiting the sick and prisoners Ida encouraged the community to do things in the light since they are imitators of the Light (Jesus) She told the community that they are the light of Bupeni , whatever they do must give God the glory. Namukose said that it’s true when she does anything bad, they always say that it shouldn’t have been her but at least some other person, It’s because the community sees her as the light of the village.
