Notes
Abraham met forty two Igerera A community members and they went through what they have written down as their constitution together with the members. Some parts were changed for example, where they wrote that when a member misses meetings for three days, he or she was supposed to pay five thousand shillings. After reading this to the members they decided that if one misses three consecutive days he or she will pay three thousand shillings. And also they said if one misses three meetings without proper reason he or she will be given a warning but if it goes to six times will cease to be a member. Abraham encouraged them to continue and finish their constitution so that their work cab be compiled together and take it to the sub county CDO for approval by the government. They checked the two homes where the chairman said they had no toilets but they found that they have started digging the pits. Abraham also told the members to put a fence on their bore hole so that they protect it from animals like pigs to stay away from it and also to put stones in the soak pit to remove the logged waters whereby mosquitoes can breed there.r
