Notes
Abraham met thirty five Nawaibete community members and with some members on the committee moved to the upper section where the old the chairman comes from because the new chairman comes from lower part and there was a disagreement between the the two which resulted into taking some members in jail. Since then there has been a struggle between the upper and the lower part. They all planted the trees and as Kibo all members are checked to see how the trees are doing. Abraham managed to get some member from lower to go with them and check how members in upper are doing. They moved to thirteen homes checking the trees but only three homes who have not put cages around their trees and Abraham advised them to do so because they will protect their trees from animals. After that exercise they came to the usual meeting place and Abraham encouraged them to see they can work together as a village. The new chairman said that they are going to meet and come up with something they can do together which will unity them and he told the meeting that he wants all the members to come together so that they can make their village a better place to stay, he said that Kibo gave them the trees and they need to look after them to see that they grow because they are going to benefit from those trees in future even if they don't see it now. He said that they want to make sure trees survive and they will be checking them every two weeks.
