- Notes
- Steven and Martin went to lgerera B to continue with the follow ups on latrine construction and standards. They walked around the lower section of the village from the chairman LC1 up to the trading centre with the chairman LC1 and one VHT. To compare to the fast day Kibo started working in lgerera B, the community members have worked so hard on their sanitation facilities like latrine constructions, dish racks, shower area, others are still digging their new pit latrines.
Steven, Martin and the group were encouraging the residents about standards, maintenance and they were telling them to construct their own sanitation facilities, not for Kibo. When Tom went to that village, the community members told him that they are having a problem with the termites destroying their dish racks. So he decided to teach the community members about the movable dish racks. Everyone is busy working at that movable dish rack, to eliminate termites destroying them.
Martin, Steven and the group walked in 40homes.
