Notes
Ida went to Kitukiro and taught about the types of feeds to give chics from day one to eight weeks. They requested Ida to re teach the hatching process. Ida re taught and asked questions at the end of the lesson which they answered well. After the review, Ida started with chic and duck marsh, growers marsh. Chick and duck mush is given to day chics to eight weeks. At week eight it’s easy to identify male chics and female ones. Then after identifying them, the food changes. Ida told them a true story of growing up with ten boys, the speed they use when eating girls can’t compete with them. So most times they never got satisfied but finally her mom noticed the problem and started separating them during meals. The chickens also do the same, they need to be separated in order to achieve the goal. This is the Feed for male chickens.
