- Notes
- Tape and Suzan were in the village with the intention of monitoring and building another demonstration stove. On arriving the village, the members happily welcomed them with songs of joy which implied that they were greatful for the program.
The community chairperson of the program welcomed Kibo staff to their village who later told them their intentions that day. After a brief meeting with the members,Tape and Suzan together with the community members went around house to house monitoring the use of the stoves and encouraged them to keep using them.
The members were also encouraged to continue smearing their stoves and kitchens for a better look. Tape and Suzan proceeded to one of the members homes as planned before and found the materials ready for building another stove.
The community members mainly participated in the building of a demonstration stove while Kibo staff guided them throughout and kept on encouraging them to practice building for other members whenever they got free time.
