- Notes
- Harriet went to since with an intention of guiding participants as they build stoves on their own.
Unfortunately there was a funeral in the village and most people had gone to the funeral.
This changed Harriet’s program of teaching the community how to build stoves. Harriet decided to join the family that had lost a dear one. She encouraged, comforted them and prayed with them.
She later joined the cooks at the funeral, fetched water as well as pealed food at the funeral. The family of the diseased together with the community thanked Harriet on behalf of Kibo for such God’s love and care. They told her that they were very much encouraged by her presence and participation which showed them that Kibo loves them all the time.
Harriet told them that Kibo focuses on relationship building and it will always adjust the plans where there is need. She also gave them an example that even her if she lost a relative Kibo will give her an opportunity to go and mourn her dear one that is she will not be forced to work.
