- When Alex B arrived in Maliga upper, he found the members waiting for him at the usual meeting place. They had prayer together that was led by the vice chairperson of the group Mr.George Isabirye.
One member of the group know as Nabatanzi asked for clarification about the money for registering their group. She said as they had project for the poultry and some have not yet paid. The few that had paid suggested that those who have not yet paid for the project their names will not be recognized like members of the group and even the names to appear in their constitution. This confused some members if it is only poultry project and yet they had paid registration.
Alex B explained to them as he introduced the program as he did not talk about the poultry keeping.He also told them as it should be a collective effort to work together for development in the group.He advised them always to think of something that can be done where everybody is able to participate. He told them finish up with the constitution and included all the names of the members. They ought to make sure within the constitution there provision for recruitment of other members in the community.They should work for unity,love and development in their village. Those who have been there from the beginning should be examples to the rest of other community members in everything as to attract others to join them for development .He told them always to think and plan how stay and work together.
The members promised embrace one another in love and be ready to receive other members for the good of the community even after constitution writing. The leaders of the group are to meet the CDO at the sub-county to help them about the constitution on 30/10/2018.
