Notes
All the 58 homes in this village were reached and evaluated. On a good note, many of the homes have all the facilities in place and only about 6 homes still have to do more to complete all their facilities. Alex, David and Steven moved with the village LC 1 and the water user committee home to home checking all the facilities and evaluating them if they meet the standards. The village in general has worked very hard to construct facilities that meet the standards from what was seen. The village leader is so happy to see his village changed much because of Kibo’s intervention and thanked Kibo fir helping him change his village. The village has a big need for clean because all the two wells are broke currently. The village has raised 275,000/= towards the repair. Also the village is pleading for these wells to be repaired and asked Kibo to act quickly because most people are getting water from a swamp. Another important notice was to see a very old lady, Ida in her late 80’s and she has managed to construct a dish rack and has all the rest of the facilities in her home.

Village Notes
Maliga has worked very hard to improve on their hygiene and sanitation and many of the people in the village are very happy to Kibo group WASH staff for encouraging them and teaching them the values of pit latrine. However the village has two boreholes that need urgent repair because the village is currently moving a long distance to the next village to collect water.
