- When Alex B arrived to Bupaluka, he found the members waiting for him at the usual meeting place.They had prayer together that was led by one of the members the group.
The chairperson of the group Mr.Saul Mutooto welcomed kibo and thanked the members for turning up for the meeting. He also reminded them to protect their trees that was given to the by kibo group from being destroyed by animals and children since they are about to get their holidays.
Alex B told the members that is necessary to register their group with the government. He explained to them that they will be given a certificate to help them to access government programs. The amount of money to paid for the certificate is,ugx 100000.and is renewable after one year and after it can be extended for three or more than three years.
The file will be opened for them at sub county and also at the district.He also told them that they are supposed to present the constitution together with the annual work plan for next year 2019 The other requirements are to pay money for registration as it is required by the government. The sub county allocates the government programs to group basing on their work plan that is submitted in by the group.
The members agreed to meet and pledge for that money about the registration. They also said they will make the work plan and the assignment which will be given to the leaders of the group to draft it. They also asked to consult other people they know that can help them (leaders) to make it /guide them since it is first time to write or make it. They will again meet and discuss it as a group until it will ready and good for their group to use.
