Notes
Alex and David went to Ituba Namalowe specifically to settle land agreement issue before the new borehole drilling in this village. Having completed the water survey, two points were selected by the surveyor to be fit for water drilling. The point that turned out to be the best point had an issue because one of the person was not willing to allow to drill in his land . However the real land owner who is a father to the current person occupying the land had accepted but was living in another village in Luuka district. He took the responsibility and came to Ituba Namalowe on this day to make sure that all was settled before the borehole drilling. He managed to convince his own son called superito to accept the borehole to be drilled. A piece of 30ft by 50ft was given out in presence of the village leaders and the community members. This made all the people very happy and thanked Mr. Possiano for being responsible enough and having love for his village too. This point to be drilled is strategically located and if successful would serve two villages, Namuwondo and Ituba Namalowe. Alex then told the people to be ready and be willing to cooperate with the drillers who were coming the following day on Saturday. He asked them to fetch enough water to be used during the drilling process and also take good care of the machines.
