- Bible Lesson 3: The love of God
- Notes
- Ida went to Ikumbya and taught a bible lesson about "God's love"
She reminded the community the story about the Good Samaritan. Ida taught this lesson sometime back but when she posed they forgot everything. Ida also reminded them of the child who was abandoned, always locked in the house that people won't see her. The mother and father denied her and she almost died. When Kibo found out,the child was helped and is now fine. Ida encouraged the members to do the same to people they live with. The Good Samaritan helped not expecting any thing back.
Ida asked if Ikumbya people help because they expect something back?.She asked them to help people because they are made in God's image.
Widows, orphans ,people with disabilities, pregnant women and the old need our help. There are many ways one can help e.g. Fetching water ,collecting firewood etc. At the end of the lesson, the community decided to help those in need. They promised to be the examples to other villages.r
