Notes
Harriet,Jeska and Tape found when the participants had divided themselves into two groups and were busy stamping the dirt. They joined them and asked the participants to try building stoves as they guide them. Men in the group volunteered to try and passed at 70%. They still have issues with measuring banana stems and making the foundation of the stove but hopefully they will learn and teach others. Also Kibo staff came across one member in the group called Jeska who was still lacking a pit Latine. She is a single woman with seven children practicing open defecation under a papaw tree and this was revealed by her child of five years. She has dug a pit latrine of about 20 feet just waiting to construct on it.Harriet reminded her about the dangers of open dedication and encouraged her to finish it very fast to avoid diseases related to open defecation.
