- Notes
- Martin went to Kagulu village to check on those homes who have been digging and constructing their latrines as well as discussing with the village about responsibilities in the promotion and maintenance. He walked around that village with the Chairman LC1 and one VHT. But good enough their some homes who have worked on their latrine constructions like Shafiki wele constructed a strong latrine with bricks and cement and Joseph Sajja constructed a strong latrine with bricks which is so good.
Others were still working on their sanitation facilities like constructing their latrines, kitchens and shower facilities. Martin and the group were encouraging them about the standards and maintenance, to make their homes and the village clean.
The community members promised the group that they are willing to complete their sanitation facilities, because they have seen the value of having them in their homes.
Martin and the group walked in 35homes.
