- Notes
- When Tom arrived in the, he found when the chairman had gone to settle some issues with some residents and had to wait for a while before he returned with two vhts as well as some of the LC committee members. After, the meeting started in which the chairman introduced Tom as well as talking about what we had shared in the previous meeting. After the chairman, Tom also spoke about kibo and how kibo works in the communities to improve hygiene and sanitation. They said they were very excited about the program. After, some vhts suggested that move around some homes which are badly off. When Tom asked if he could take pictures, some vhts said it’s okay while others said may be later when we have talked to the people about what is going on and therefore Tom declined from taking pictures. But during the moving around, Tom together with the committee members saw open defecation and many homes without facilities. Tom suggested to the vhts that next week they will be starting the baseline survey for three days and the following Monday Tom suggested that it will be triggering and they accepted.
