- Martin went to lgerera B to check on the sanitation and hygiene facilities and standards in that village. He walked around that village with the Chairman LC1 and the sanitation committee. But the community members have worked so hard on their sanitation facilities like latrine constructions, dish racks, rubbish pits,kitchens and shower facilities . They were encouraging them about the standards, maintenance, smearing,sock pits and the use of ash to eliminate flies and smell in their latrines. Generally to compare to other villages, the community members in lgerera B have worked so hard on their sanitation facilities and because of kibo’s program, their are four women serving groups in lgerera B. And they are requesting the Chairman LC1 to go and request their groups to the sub/County in the names of Tweyambe Igerera kibo women groups. For those who are still working on their sanitation facilities, promised Martin and the group that they are also willing to complete their sanitation facilities to make their homes clean not to a-shame their village. They walked in 32homes.
