Notes
David and Steven were in the village and their intentions of going there was to monitor and assess the borehole and sanitation status in the few homes which were yet to finish the construction of their latrine pits. While at the village the Kibo staff were joined by the wife of the village chairman mr Daniel Salumanya Who lead them to where the borehole was . David and Steven were happy to see that the borehole was taken good care of . And the sock pit was well maintained. Therefore David asked the borehole chairman mr kyambu who after some while at the borehole had joined them about what was the status of their borehole. He told the Kibo staff that they had 250000 shillings towards their borehole account. They were happy to hear about that much they had as their borehole contributions and they were also reminded of always continuing contributing money towards their borehole account. From the borehole the Kibo staff visited about 46homes and all had the necessary sanitation facilities in place and were all up to standard . Good enough even the most stubborn two homes of mr Abudulunulu Kabolisa and Robert Misisera which used to lag behind had worked improved by constructing new latrines. David was so much encouraged with the two homes and encouraged them to maintain the required sanitation standards. In general out of the homes the Kibo staff visited they were all meeting the required set standards. Except the one home which was encouraged to by the Kibo staff to improve on their sock-pit and the top of the shower area.
