David and Steven met with the village leaders. To decide on the dates for the village meeting. They also mobilized the community members to attend the meeting in preparation for the next triggering. While at the village they were joined by the secretary on the water and sanitation committee who led them to the borehole. At the borehole the Kibo staff found when the status of the borehole was not good because the borehole was down for about a month without working . Therefore when David asked why it was down and what caused all that. The treasure miss Tumuhayise samuha responded that the borehole was spoilt by the many people who were over pumping it in order to water their water melons gardens and the water for the new school brick making project. The treasurer miss Tumuhayise samuha told the Kibo staff that they had 40000 shillings as their borehole account balance. However David was happy to hear that they were to have aborehole meeting the next coming week. David knew that it would yield some good fruits of the members continuing contributing money towards their borehole account by monitoring and assessing their way forward and progress. David and Steven moved in about 40 homes but out of the 40 only 5 people were still practicing open deification. But still during David and Steven’s home to home movements they encouraged the community members to start improving on their sanitation standards as well as continuing mobilizing all the members not to fail to attend the next coming triggering session. The community members who talked to the Kibo staff said that they will be involving the village chairman mr Azizi lsiko to take a lead in the mobilization for the next triggering . Since is one of the most prominent people in the village. On addition that the members who were in a brief meeting with the Kibo staff told David and Steven that they will encourage everyone to attend the triggering meeting without fail. Because the members who were talking to the Kibo staff gave a testimony saying that all the members who did not attend the Food and Nutrition programs missed out all the incentives which the facilitators at the end of the training they gave out for example back-pumps for spraying their vegetable gardens ,gumboots,and bicycles. Therefore David advised the members not to always missing out any village developmental programs .
