Notes
Abraham and Alex B met nine Ikumbya community members and the chairperson Mss Nabirye thanked the committee for the good work done, they have been working on finishing the chicken coop where they will keep their chickens. She said that they divided up the work within the committee members like the chairperson was given to buy chicken feeds of four hundred kilos of maize brand. She told the meeting there some members who have not yet brought what they were assigned for. One of the members who have not yet brought said that they are waiting for the day of bringing the chicks and that is when they will bring them. Abraham thanked them for the good work done so far and encouraged them to continue working as a group because the leaders are the head of the community and if there is any problem they need to come together and work out solutions towards the problem before taking it to the general meeting because if they start arguing before the members, they will not respect them. He told them to write down the expense how they have used the money for. The secretary asked if the expenses is needed now and Abraham told him no but they need work on it so soon not to take many days. Alex B advised them about having one member to be responsible because if they say they will all work together everyone may say so and so will work and in the end there may be no one showed up. That is ever good to sign up one person but that does not mean they will not work but to make sure one person is responsible. The committee took Abraham and Alex to see four bags of chicken feeds they have bought so far and it still in the milling mill whereby they are hoping to transfer it to the house near the chicken coop. Abraham and Alex left to Jinja at around 2:50 pm
