- Manuela and Lorna noticed that the school caters for persons with Special needs which they have never seen in any other school. It was great to meet and interact with them.

- To meet with the Headteacher of Bukhana P/S and the rest of the school staff to let them know of Kibo’s intentions in this school.

- Introduction Manuela and Lorna made their first visit to Bukhana Primary School to introduce Life Skills Education and Counseling program to this school. Overview Manuela and Lorna were meant to go with the District inspector of Schools to officially introduce them. This was however not possible as he got another appointment with the Chief Administrative Officer(CAO). The Inspector of Schools assigned us somebody else but he still did not turn up. This did not stop Manuela and Lorna from going to the school by themselves. Also since the District Education Officer had already informed the Headteacher of this school that Kibo will be visiting them soon. On arrival, they were welcomed by the Headteacher who was very happy to receive them. In his office Lorna and Manuela briefly mentioned who Kibo was and their intention to work hand in hand with them through the the Life Skills Program. He was excited and asked the assistant head teacher to immediately inform all the teachers of our arrival and arrange a meeting. Lorna and Manuela were able to meet with the teachers and explained to them who Kibo is and our involvement in the community. We mentioned the other Kibo programs that have worked in Bukoma and Bukhana. Lorna and Manuela also mentioned that Life Skills is the last Program in a village and we work in the villages that Kibo’s other programs have worked. Manuela gave a summary of the Life Skills Education and Counseling program and what is involved in the curriculum. After finishing they asked if there were any questions and some of the questions asked were; what incentives do we have, do we provide trees since we mentioned the Mvule Community Development Program?, how can one get a stove. Lorna mentioned that Kibo’s programs have already been in these villages and that Life Skills does not however provide trees and neither do we build stoves. The question of incentives we said a Kibo provides exercise books for the pupils, pens, markers and Manila cards and also awards certificates to the best performing pupils and also to the 2 life a Skills teachers. Conclusion The meeting was Very successful and we concluded by setting the day and time which Life Skills lessons will be conducted. The day was Monday and time was 11-1pm.

- 2019-02-18 - Purpose: Meet the pupils for the first time and teach on personal Hygiene. It will be a sensitization awareness on personal hygiene
