- When Alex B arrived at Bupaluka, he found members waiting for him at their usual meeting place. They had an opening prayer that was led by Saul.
The chairperson of the group Saul Mutooto gave his welcome remarks as he thanked them for turning up for the meeting.
The leader informed the members about their garden project how it was important to discuss and how they would work on it and also facilitate It. He added that since they agreed to plant soybeans and cassava ,they was a need for members to avail themselves to provide physical labour in the garden. He said there is need to contribute money that will spend on issues like pesticides for spraying the soybeans. The members were also asked to discuss where to get quality stems of cassava that were not affected by pests.
Mulondo one of the members suggested that as it was necessary to select a member to be in charge of the garden for easy supervision and members seconded it. Peter nominated Wabwose to be in charge on ground that,he is the one whom freely provided land for the project. He also said as he is a member of committee and active,The members seconded the ideas and he also accepted the responsibility.
Alex B advised them all to corporate and love the project. He said they will benefit out of it when they focus their mind to work for development. The soybeans and cassava are crops that do good in that region and always people get good harvest. He told them attend to the garden as long as they are required to be there and do some work.He also advised them to have money at hand for that project, because any time it may be required solve a need like drugs for spraying the soybeans.
He thanked Wabwose for accepting the responsibility of being in charge of their garden and advised the members to corporate with him for the good of their garden. The cassava stem,he told them to look out those are not affected by diseases so that they can get a good yield.
He thanked the members for their participation during the meeting and cautioned them to work for development in their families and group.
