community meeting
Abraham met thirty four Igerera A members and together they started doing evaluation for the remaining twenty five members. It was raining so they had to wait for the rain to fast stop before carrying on with the evaluation. Most of the members have kept their trees alive and they want to start saving some money as a group so that in future they will be able to give out some soft loans to the members. This exercise took them long checking on members homes and most of them have nice toilets and kitchens. Abraham advised those who have not put cages around their trees to do it to make sure they protect them from animals. It was a good exercise because the chairman also discovered some new homes which he did not know, that they were in Igerera A. Abraham left late and on the way they stepped on a nail and they had to change the tire then proceed to Jinja. They are still contributing money to take their constitution to the sub county for registering the group.
