Notes
Introduction Manuela had planned to go to Nawiabete village to teach about the dangers of alcohol and drug use, this lesson is aimed at encouraging community members to stop spending lots of money buying Alcohol which is not good because it has led to poverty in many homes and diseases to many people. unfortunately when Manuela reached the village she found three quoters of community members not around, they had gone for court hearing, previously some of the community members in that village were arrested because of they were involved in fighting which lead to serious injuries on people. Overview When Manuela reached the village, she did not found some of community members, that they had gone for court hearings, so Manuela decided to pay a visit to New Buyanga Primary School, this school was the first school were Life Skills was activeand it’s situated in that village ,so Manuela went there to check on Life Skills Progress, when Manuela reached the school she found the new headmistress, she welcomed her happily, Manuela later introduced her self to her, Manuela met with the Life Skills teacher she told Manuela Life Skills is going on well but she is having challenges with communication skills so she was requesting Manuela to pay them another visit and help with that lesson, after that Manuela and the Life Skills teacher went to p.6 and p.7 class, Manuela gave the pupils a piece of advice that, they should be be good boys and girls who are good listeners, always read their notes and also attend Life Skills lessons. But this school’s enrollment have gratify reduced from 350to 210 which is bad. Good News. The school headmistress reported that, since Life Skills was implemented in that school, she said that the former headmaster told her about the program and its importance that , pupils performance has really improved, the girl child education has also improved for instance no case of early marriages, pregnancy and school dropouts which is good. Finally Manuela encouraged the Life skills teacher and the new headmistress to continue teaching the pupils the Skills for the betterment of their features. Manuela left the school heading to Nawiabete village. When she reached the village, she found few people, only five people seated waiting for her, so Manuela asked the community members that they should go and check the borehole condition, on the reaching there, Manuela found when theses community members have not fenced their borehole even they have not worked on sock pit yet Manuela told them to work on that previously but they did not, there and then Manuela called Alex Walyomu the manager in charge of borehole construction and reported the case he said he will visit them soon. Manuela and some of the community member came back to the meeting point then they arranged to meet next week. Finally, Manuela told community members to get serious and take good care of their borehole as a last waning .
