Notes
David and Steven were in naibowa . Their intentions of going there was to move home to home while encouraging about facility maintenance ,standards and improvements. However when David and Steven reached the village they were joined by Wakiso lsimail the head of the bufesa zone youth league, lubale Wilber the area pastor and ,zabiya Justine the treasurer on the borehole committee . David asked the sanitation committee members how was the village progressing . The members responded that there was less progress. Therefore David had to change the method of encouragement they had used before by dividing the village into 5 five sub zones for easier monitoring and supervision of the hygiene and sanitation improvements work. David and the team started their home to home movements around the entire naibowa village . Then David kept on dividing the village amongst the group of the sanitation committee members. He argued the group he was moving with to take a lead in each zone wherever the Kibo staff will be away in the village. As the team continued moving around the village they found a lady by the names of Namukisa Joyce . She so loved the program and what encouraged David and Steven was that she had all the sanitation facilities up to standard. Namukisa Joyce requested David to give her the second last zone . That she would take a lead towards the encouragements and the maintenance of it . David accepted and gave him the responsibility towards seeing that her zone also gets better and improved. David,s team continued to the second last zone where the chairman of the village resides . Also at the chairman,s home David did the same procedure by giving the full responsibility to the village chairman. He thanked the chairman for being part of the sanitation improvements campaign. The team continued and reached the last zone where the Paster lubale Wilber stays. David also gave the responsibility to pastor lubale Wilber. The pastor even said that he will be reporting the progress to the Kibo staff by phone calling. After all that David and Steven had a brief meeting together with the members who were elected by David to take the lead in all the village,s sanitation improvements campaign. He encouraged the members who were elected to do an effective work of encouraging the rest of the other village members without segregating any one. David thought that by doing that it would help to change the sanitation of the village. Therefore David encouraged the members to start working together as a team for the greater village sanitation improvements . In general the hygiene and sanitation of the entire village was not meeting the required standards.Except for some people who had worked and improved on their sanitation facilities .
