When Alex B arrived and found them waiting for him at their usual meeting place. They had an opening prayer that was led by Kapere. Swaibu Kigoolo one of the committee members reported that the chairperson Margaret Waiswa was sick and unable to attend the meeting. He also said that they had not yet cleared their garden because the ground or soil is hard due to prolonged drought.He told the members that the moment they receive rain the following day they have to plough it .He also reminded the members of the pledges they made about their group garden project and encouraged them to fulfill their pledges. Mrs.Kavera the treasurer of the group also reminded the members to pay in the money on time so that they can be able to buy seeds of peas.She also reminded them that they are now in process of opening group bank account,they need to have it at hand as soon as possible. Alex B .thanked the members for the idea of having a group garden project.He also told them the garden is going to be as a demonstration in the community and the village.He also told them that the next meeting will be held at the demonstration guarded so that they discuss and implement what they have discussed immediately.This will be done after clearing the garden.The size of the area will determine the quantity that will be planted there .
