Introduction It was so good for Manuela to go to Kigalama Primary School, to check on Life Skills program, she met the pupils and their teachers this exercise enables the life skills teachers to gain courage in teaching the pupils, even the pupils feel good. Overview When Manuela reached the school, pupils were so excited to see Manuela, they came running to her hoping may be she came with the baby, one of the pupils asked her “madam where is the baby”? Manuela answered, that she left the baby at home, but she told them that she will come with her next time. After that, Manuela went to the headmasters office to sign, she met the deputy head teacher who was so happy to see her, he explained to her how the primary seven performed, indeed their performance was so good, he told her that in Kigalama rural, kigalama primary school was the best for the first time ever and it was because of Life Skills program and teaching methods for example, Manuela and Lorna would encourage pupils to speak English, reading culture and also how to understand the questions before writing an answer, this system was implemented by Life Skills teachers ( Manuela and Lorna). While in the headmaster office, some pupils were waiting for Manuela so that they can go to Life Skills class with her , when she entered the class pupils were vey many , Manuela decided to tell the pupils that they should go and stay outside in the compound. Manuela started by greeting the pupils and asking them about the previous lessons that they learnt, after that Manuela encouraged the pupils to abstain from sex till marriage and even advised them to be good boys and girls since they are soon going for a holiday, she told them to help their parents while at home and they should not forget reading their books. Talking about the values of education, Manuela encouraged the pupils to focus on their studies than thinking about marriages now, because with education they will be good responsible citizens in feature.
