Notes
Harriet had planned to guide the participants of kalitumba village on how to choose their leaders who will coordinate the program. She had also planned to guide participants to assess form policies that will govern the program to promote effective participants. Unfortunately she found very few participants at the meeting place because there was a school parents meeting at Nabikabala primary school that required most parents to attend. Since it was the end of term parents meeting it was necessary for all the parents to attend so as to discuss their children’s performance and how to boost the children’s performance for those with poor results. It was quite challenging for Harriet to teach her intended lessons since it required most participants to be available in order to make informed decisions by consensus. Harriet decided to review the previous lesson about the goals and objectives of the Healthy and Safe kitchen program. This was intended to confirm whether the members still remember about what they discussed in the previous meeting. This was a brief meeting to allow others also to go and attend the school parents meeting. Harriet encouraged the members to always communicate Incase there is change of programs so that she can also adjust on her intended village meeting plans. The members told her that the meeting was so abrupt because the school did not communicate to them earlier. The meeting was postponed to 6th may 2019 so that most people will be able to attend.
