Notes
When Tom Arrived , he moved around the village checking on hygiene and sanitation improvements together with the vhts. In the homes visited, most of them had latrines being constructed and they saw 5 newly constructed latrines and several under construction. Also many dish racks being constructed as well as other facilities. After they were joined by the health inspector for the meeting. In the meeting the inspector appreciated the residents of buluvu for embracing sanitation and hygiene by working and constructing facilities that improve their hygiene and sanitation such as latrines, dish racks and other facilities. He also discussed about the value of hand washing and encouraged them to continue improving, maintaining and embracing good sanitation and hygiene practices. Tom also appreciated the work the residents have done and as well encouraged them to keep it up by improving more in areas such as hand washing and facility maintenance. Tom also reminded them of their set deadline for completion and encouraged them to meet that deadline to set the standards for other neighboring villages. The inspector also picked Buluvu village as the demonstration village for Bulange sub county.
