- Martin and Enock went to lgerera B to check on facility constructions, hand washing and roofing on latrines. They walked around that village with the Chairman LC1 and the VHTS. Generally the community members have worked so hard on their sanitation facilities like latrine constructions and roofing with iron sheets, dish racks, rubbish pits, kitchens and shower areas. Martin and the group were encouraging them about the standards, maintenance, smearing and the use of ash to eliminate flies and smell in their latrines. The Chairman LC1 told them that he is going to mobilize the community members about the hand washing facilities before the next visit. Because when you work around you see that they need more encouragement about the hand washing. On the side of the latrines, they are two homes who are still working on them. The Chairman LC1, sanitation committee members and the village itself were just appreciating the work of kibo going on. And they are requesting that if there’s any other program, they are willing to work with kibo. Martin, Enock and the group walked in 44homes.
