- A woman was beating children seriously. Ida asked what was the problem and the auntie said that the children were pooping every where, she asked if they had a latrine and it was there. But the children were visitors and didn't know where it was. These children were brought to have Christmas with the grand parents. Ida asked the chair person of this group how are they going to help these children and their aunt?
The chairman said he was going to talk to the woman after the meeting. Ida encouraged them to show love because the children might end up in trouble after the talks.

- Bible Lesson 3: The love of God
- Notes
- Ida went to Ikumbya and taught a bible lesson about God's love. The group first prayed and thanked God for his love though they sin against him every day. Then sung some songs and were ready for the lesson. Ida asked if they knew the cause of all what is going on, they said that the youths don't want to work, people want to get rich in a short time and many have turned away from God.
The youths are lazy they think that the president is the causer of all problems they have.People want to become rich immediately that's why they kill bodaboda cyclists and sell their motorcycles. Men sacrifice children for riches and men having many wives thinking that some women have good luck whereas others are cursed.
Ida used a story of a lost son from Lk 15:11-32.She said we have all turned against God in some way,but have to come back to our senses like the lost son. God is willing and happy to welcome us back in his presence. Those who are doing bad things to others, God is willing to forgive!. Children who are misbehaving, Ida asked them to come back to their senses and ask for forgiveness from their parents. Parents who are torturing children too should ask for forgiveness, the children are vulnerable. Ida asked the group to all show LOVE to every one.
Ida encouraged the community mostly mothers to take care of their children because they are precious gifts from God. The children never applied to be born but God gave them to them as gifts. She added that Let's not leave responsibilities to others who also have their own problems else the children will end up suffering like those seen in the communities.
God loves us the way we are though we sin everyday.
