- Abstinence is the process of staying without sex till marriage, teaching parents about abstinence it dose not mean that they are to abstinence from sex but this lesson is aimed at encouraging parents to advice their children so that they can abstinent from sex. Manuela went to Kivule village to teach about the importance of abstinence , she started by telling the community members that this lesson is not mate for them but the reason why they are learning this lesson is for them to get the information and pass it to their children, Manuela believe that’s if she is teaching the kids at school and also their parents then they will be able to also teach their children at home. While teaching the community members, Manuela taught the parents tricks of preparing their pupils before they can talk to them for instance she told them to be nice to their children, ask them if the they have time to talk, be close to them and among others she went on and told the members that if they want to get clear information from their children they should give them humble time. Finally, she encouraged the community members to continue advising their children about the importance of abstinence.
